    Question Develop and Scan lab recommendation?

    I'm without a darkroom for the first time in 35 years, and would appreciate references to labs which will process 4x5 B&W and scan it inexpensively for proofing. Thank you.

    I have heard good things about dalmatian

    They do work for some pretty high end people in our area and are even set up to develop 12x20. pm me if I can help sorce in our area for you.

    Bill, for drum-scanning I use Starflower Studios, in Chicago. They discount their listed prices 30% if they don't do the spotting:

    This stuff is extremely expensive. It's easy to understand why people buy drum/pro-flatbed or even consumer flatbed scanners. It's not to say the value of their work is not worth the money, but just putting other alternatives into perspective.

    Media Specialties, Inc. in Boise, ID...one of the last lab/scan facilities in our neck of the woods.
