    Daylight lightbox

    Hi,
I'm getting tired of going through the hassle of previewing all my sheets through a flatbed scanner in order to assess the keepers. As such, I want to speed up my workflow and get a daylight corrected lightbox for up to 8x10''.
    - What brands do you recommend for good value for money?
    - Can I buy a battery powered one and later adapt any universal AC adaptor, or do they normally need a proprietary AC power adaptor?
    - Any advice on where to get one in Europe, by mail order?
    Thanks for your help,
    Cristiano

Most units larger then 5x7 are AC operation only. Gepe does have an 8x12" that is 5000K ± 270K supplied with a 12V 1A power adapter. So you could rig up a 12V battery with at least 1A output and run it as a battery unit. But that would be a pretty big and heavy battery for portable use.
