If you're looking for something small and packable, there's the Rodenstock Perigon. It's a cemented 4 element, 2 group, f12, 110 degree coverage small gem. The later versions (50's vintage) are single coated but are quite contrasty with only 4 air to glass surfaces. The 130mm will cover 8X10 and the 150mm provides ample room for movements. And the plus is that they will both fit in a Copal or Compur 0 shutter. I have the 110mm which I use with the 5X7 format.

They do show up from time to time on these forums or ebay.

I have a SS 150 XL that works very well with 4x10 format, pricey, but what a nice optic.

Less expensive than its 120 cousins, the 121mm Super Angulon covers 8x10 on axis. It's a single-coated lens.

Having used a 159mm lens with an 8x10 Deardorff, I would think your biggest problem with a 65mm lens wouldn't be coverage, it would be finding a bellows that would compress enough to allow you to focus. I can't imagine that a 65mm lens would work on a normal 8x10 camera (pin hole cameras being different of course since they don't use a bellows).

You could try a pinhole. Pinholes can give pretty nice wide angle images, especially on bigger formats like 8x10.

Mine doesn't, at least not at infinity. But it does cover 18x24cm, though.

I have a 121 SA and rarely use it on 8x10 but frequently use my 165 WA Dagor and 10" WF Ektar. Both are very fine lenses. Unfortunately the WA Dagors are getting up there in price.

There's a Bausch & Lomb 141mm f18 Protar in a Copal Shutter on EBay if you're interested. Here's the link.
