    Re: Rocks and stones

I've been enjoying the 4x10" ratio lately! (split 8x10 sheets with a cut darkslide). This is my first attempt to do a vertical 4x10! It seems alot more tricky to find a composition that works well with such a long vertical image. I also did a horizontal 4x10 on the plants growing out of the water (which was the one I was looking forward to!) but by my lack of note keeping I ended up shooting that 1/2 on top of another shot :-( haha!

I like the play of light on those rocks. It came out exactly as I saw it, but am not sure others will see the beauty too (maybe it's too dark)...

    Ben,

At first, for some reason, I thought it was leaves on top of some rocks... I like it. You are right, I bet it'd make a killer desktop background too. (Not in a bad way or anything...)

Here's one more taken many years ago when I lived in England. It's part of a cliff in Cornwall shot with my Wista and 90mm SA.

The second image was taken in Antelope Canyon AZ with my Canham and 90mm SA

One from Joshua Tree! I did some mild rock climbing to get this shot! Though, later I found out that there was an easier way around the huge pile of rocks. It was fun none the less! 90mm, yellow filter & polarizer
