Don't know how I feel about this one. I was screwing around with just the rear element of a Schneider Xenar 135mm f/4.7 lens for this shot. It was approx. a 90mm lens and I stopped it down to f/11:



Also, out of curiosity, I tried out a 100-year-old Rapid Rectilinear that I found on an old Kodak 3C folder:

In that spirit here is a shot taken with the reversed rear element of an old projection lens. Speed Graphic, Polaroid type 664 pack film.

I am liking this one. The perspective/OOF combo works for me and for some reason, the OOF tree in the far background makes the image.

As promised here is one more with the 90xl on my Ebony slw810. I did this with a circular polarizer and Velvia 50. using the polarizer was a real bitch because it bands the sky on such a wide angle lens. I use the lee 95mm adapter which attaches to the barrel instead of threading on keeping the filter from causing additional vignetting.
