Two 8x10s of my favorite tree, The Colossal Ghost, 4000 years old when it died, maybe dead a thousand. Magnificent Tree. Ancient Bristlecone National Forest.

Both on Adox Pan25 souped in Rodinal 1:50. Someday I will do a picture book just with this tree. It does amazing things at different times of the year.

Jeffrey, I really like your Manzanita. Very beautiful!

Here's one of my first LF shots... taken well after sunset, lit only by the sky's glow. On the trail to Taronga Landing in Sydney Harbor.

The colors look a bit garish on my monitor, Ashlee, but I like the tones and composition - good work! Might be nice converted to B&W as well...

Had the chance to visit some magical places this month.

The "Sugar Forest" a few weeks ago, then the "Glass Forest" on Friday.

I agree, my first scans were garish... trying to learn how to use the scanner. Perhaps this is betterAttachment 36074

Tank you, Brian. After many, many years my photos are coming out like I imagine... Sometimes.
