Highbridge over railroad tracks, Bronx, New York City (2024)

I have wanted to capture this for many years, but I never felt like I had the abilities yet until now. I ended up shooting it on the 8x10 camera with a Schneider 110XL lens, which is equivalent to about an 18mm lens on 35mm.

    Thank you Francis.

Actually a transparency (E100), was scanned on a Creo IQSmart3, some others are scanned on a drum scanner. The Creo does a great job on the film. As you know each scanner will impart its own characteristics on the film, but that just goes with the territory.

Such a great shot - and that middle arch looks too real to be real...
