    Pt/Pd Question

What's the best way to cut down paper for Pt/Pd printing?

Can I use my rototrim or will I end up with metal all over the paper?

    Thanks,
    Steve

In my experience you will be fine using a rototrim.

Like Don, I have had little problem with the Rototrim. But then I do get an occasional black speck on a print from somewhere.

Since the blades are "self-sharpening" there could possibly be some steel floating around somewhere.

    Re: Pt/Pd Question

I use a metal straight edge ruler on the back and tear the paper. It's neat without hard cut edges. (And one edge of the ruler has a thin coat of clear nail varnish, to cover up any specks of metal that might come off from using it for years for cutting with scalpels etc.)

I generally tear the paper the way Katie describes. I don't worry about metal specks since I have never seen them even when cutting with a metal razor, but tearing the paper is just the fastest way to do it.
