Pretty straightforward, Dennis. I use a Kino-Flo Diva over the top (basically a soft box) and then two 4x4 diffusion frames flanking with a small dimmable spot through each. Sometimes I'll add a backlight, but not typically. I compose and fine tune all the lighting with my digital cam and then switch over to 4x5 when ready.

Thanks and yeah. I use strobe quite a lot too, but in the studio, find that I can fine tune things more with hot lights. The Kino and the little Dedo spots all have built in dimmers, which is a godsend.

Do you raise these things or did you buy them, or were you traveling?

    Lovely work, Christopher.

Below, a recent photograph of Nymphaea, which is making the bees happy around here these days.
