I agree it's the best one yet... simple and elegant with no visually distractive elements.

Not to the caliber of Jonathan's but a few addition from this week-end playing some more with un-coated lenses.

It's not a competition, Luc. And I'm with you in regard to uncoated lenses.

You do very well shooting flowers in place. I always need to cut them down and bring them inside since it takes me way too long to get the composition I want. (Would you believe two hours sometimes? Yeah, I'm slow.) If I tried shooting outside the light would change too much before I settled on the right framing.

Did think about it like one...
You get more delicate tones and I am more in your face.
Likely be able to use controlled lightning would be great and I am sure that after looking at all the set-ups that you guys are using I will try it one day but for now it is just as I find it (or not).
I might venture on the front lawn of neighbors next :-)

    Cheers,

    Luc

    Thank you very much.
I just found an old Dial-set Compur on eBay to move the 1938 Tessar 135/4.5 from a Sinar Db board to it.
It has I think ten aperture blades so I am looking forward to it.

    Cheers,
