Does anyone have any data for this version? Coverage, weight, filter size etc.
Thanks,
Jim

Thanks Nick.
Like the others in the A series, the Fujinon 300 A is a "super-apochromatic" process lens, and is remarkably small and light, considering its performance. It has a generous 420mm circle of coverage. It takes 55mm filters, and weighs only 410 grams: much less than comparable lenses for the 8x10 format, for which it serves as a normal lens.
When used on 4x5 or 5x7 cameras, it becomes a wonderful longer lens for portraits, and gives tremendous accomodation for view camera movements It is also superb lens when used close-up on 8x10.
This lens was discontinued by Fuji, but you can see it listed in this 1981 catalog on Kerry Thallmann's web site: http://www.thalmann.com/largeformat/as-sfs.htm
Thanks for the info Ken.
