    Dagor S lens

    Trying to find information on a Dagor S 199mm F 4.5 lens. Serial # 835745. No Luck finding anything. Hope the experts here can help.

    I posted an inquiry about them a few months ago, but nobody had any ideas. My Dagor-S was a 10" f4.5 with a very similar serial number. The lens was very big, significantly larger than any other 10" f4.5 lens I have seen.

    Mine was not a regular 6/2 Dagor, but was some sort of 4/4 construction, perhaps a double gauss. It was not particularly sharp open wide or even stopped down at infinity, but appeared to be much sharper at close distances.

    I came to the conclusion that it was some sort of repro lens, but could very well be wrong.
