yeah, his work is amazing. i discovered him completely by accident in some nyc historical article a couple of years ago. that image of the workers perched in the bridge wires like musical notes seems to get reproduced a lot, but there are so many other gems in there.
Sweetness. Those ferry boats remind me so much of Southern Pacific's which ran around the Bay Area. Trolley cars were priceless too.
