    Question Testing a QuickLoad holder

Hi, I was given a QL holder classified as "junk" i.e. defective. Apart from a tiny deformation in the film aperture it looks great. I sacrificed one QL sheet and operation seems fine. It engages, exposes the film when pulled and disengages with the button.

Should I test anything else to check its proper functionality?

    Thanks.

Sounds like it's time to shoot some film in the camera and check for good focus in all the corners and center of the film. Does the pressure plate look like it holds the film flat?

Thanks. Yes, I will shoot some film. The pressure plate looks fine. In fact, even what I thought was deformation was some waxy grime which came off. Someone had bought this before and returned it as 'not working', but so far I cannot see anything wrong with it.

No.. not me.. I've never done that. And I've never made a bad exposure either.
