What size boards do the Speed Graphics take?

Not saying you should buy this lens board, but this auction site actually put a tape measure to a speed graphic lens board so you can see the correct size.

Hope that's helpful.
Don't forget the lens board should be drilled out to fit your shutter properly.
My Anni Speed takes lensboards that are a fraction under 4" on either side.
The older speeds like my 1946 model took a wood 4X4" board that will swap out with many others like Zone VI, Deardorff, Wisner, and others. The Graflex boards are usually painted black and have a C impressed in the back.
3 11/16 x 3 5/8" or 93.66mm x 92.07mm are on mine.

Over many years and many film sizes there have been many sizes of Speed Graphic boards. The early ones were wood, and can be easily duplicated with modern material such as hardboard or MDF. Later ones were formed from aluminum. Rider, if you want to know the diminsions of the board for a particular Speed Graphic, let us know. Someone can either look it up or measure theirs.
Too bad that the later Speed graphics abandoned the 4x4 wooden boards. They're much easier to work with than the 3.5" metal boards; but I guess back then metal was more modern.
I saw an adapter on eekBay which allowed the Crown Graphic boards to be mounted on the old ca. 4"x4" Annie Boards. I would have bought it, at 20 bucks, "Buy it Now," price, but the guy wanted 15 bucks for postage. I mean all it needed was a padded envelop and some stamps. I queried him on it, but never got an answer and the board disappeared from sale.

I have a few of the flimsy metal boards that I don't use.
I also have one of those adapters which I don't use.
Postage from Norway is high, but not $15 high - more like $6 plus envelope.
Anyone need one?
