If you are asking if you can spot meter a flash... I don't think so. At least I can't with my L558.
Yes I am trying to use the spot meter on a flash. I believe some of the earlier meters like the 508 offer this functionality and I was wondering if the l 758 has this functionality.

Thanks and I did get around to calling MAC support and they indicated the 758 works in spot memory mode in the same way is it works in incidence mode! Thanks for the posts!
