    How to distinguish a Sinar P1 from a P2?

    Hello,

I just purchased a Sinar P-Series. I am new to large format photography. Does anyone know how to distinquish a P1 from a P2? Are there distinct feature differences or is a a matter of knowing the serial number?

My camera came from a pawn shop-- out of all places!-- so, they didn't know a lot about it. I know just enough to be dangerous....

I would like to know so I can get the proper accessories, etc.

    Thanks!

    BJ

the P is has a satin-chrome finish. P2 is black. There are other differences (knobs, etc...) too.

The P has one knob for swing and tilt and a toggle switch to flip between them. The P2 has separate knobs for swing and tilt.

A P that's been serviced recently could have some P2 parts in it.
