    Mounting Flange for a LF lens

    Any idea where to find a mounting flange for a LF lens, should be M86 thread mount.

    S.K. Grimes has some flanges or can make them:

    However, since you are in Germany it might be cheaper to check with a local machine shop (Feinmechaniker). Do you need a flange or is a retaining ring good enough? The latter would be cheaper to make.

    I actually had SK Grimes make a flange for a lens I bought. Excellent workmanship, fit and finish beyond reproach, and a fair price.

    Just a retaining ring Arne. My mechanic is retired now unfortunately....

    The man to talk to is Bill Moretz. He's made me retaining rings, lens boards, custom mounts for ALL sort of stuff, plus he's seen just about everything. AND his fees for services are VERY fair.
