Aperture blades does it matter on wides?

I have a 135mm and a 90mm f5.6. Will a hexagonal compur or the more multi-bladed aperture from the 135m show any noticable difference on the 90mm? I have swapped them over for just now but have still to calculate each other apertures therfore am thinking I might swap back for ease of use.

Your OOF highlights will be bigger with the longer focal length lens, thus the shape of the aperture blades will be more of a concern with longer lenses. The wider the lens, the less chance of OOF areas. Most people feel that the "shape" of the aperture blades affects the Bokeh...or OOF rendering.

So seeing as 90mm is normally stopped down using a smaller number of blades really shouldn't be too much of a degredation of sharpness etc ... and the rounded aperture will be better suited to the 135 when shot wide eye'd

made the change and I feel go-od. Plus the newer black compur looks much more at home on the evil black sinar panel.
