    Lab Suggestion - LF Processing

    Hello,

Some of you may know me from the old LF Photo forum. I've taken a break from photography for a little over a year (a very long story) but am looking to get back into LF.

Somewhere in my film freezer in the basement, I have four sheets of 11x14 that I shot in November of '05. I believe TMX or TMY, but I can't be sure.

My darkroom has fallen into disrepair, and is far from being ready to process this - especially given the need for open trays in what is currently a room with more light leaks than a ten year old paper bag.

I was wondering if anyone can suggest a good lab that could handle doing this short run of 11x14 B&W film, and perhaps producing some quick-and-dirty contact prints.

    Thanks,
    Jason Antman

    Thanks for the advice, Frank.

Edgar already replied to my email, and stated that he doesn't do 11x14 - he doesn't feel comfortable doing film in open trays, which is very understandable.

    Any other suggestions, anyone?

    Duggal does E-6 11x14"--not sure about B&W (www.duggal.com).

Sixty-Eight Degrees could do up to 20x24" in their big Refrema dip and dunk processor (that's a LOT of Xtol), before they moved, and I think they've brought the Refrema to the new location, so it's worth contacting them as well. (http://www.sixtyeightdegrees.com/)

I'd also suggest MV Labs (http://www.mvlabs.com/). They did great work for me (11x14 B&W)...they'll do tray development by inspection. They specialize in B&W.
