    Wollensak lens dates?

Is there any information online to date a Wollensak Baush-Lomb Tessar Series IIb SN:2688631? It is on a Kodak 3A Autographic Specal Model B w/coupled rangefinder which narrows it to 1916-1934.

    Thanks
    Chris

    Ansel,

that would be a "Baush-Lomb Tessar Series IIb SN:2688631", Wollensak made Velostigmats but also made lots of shutters. It would be easier to date the camera.

    Have fun with the hunt.

Didn't find lens dates but was able to date it between 1916 and 1919 using: http://www.eastman.org/fm/mees/htmls...00445_ful.html
My 3A has a consealed bed release which they stopped using after 1919.
