    Light Meter Repairs

Does anyone know where I can send a Gossen-Luna Pro light meter for repairs? I live in Northern Virginia near Washington, D.C.

Strauss-Phototechnical on Mt. Olivet Rd. NE used to do meter repairs. But I do not know if they are still in business.

Quality Light Metric, in Los Angeles did mine. I've never had a good feeling about Strauss.

You are not the only person whom I have heard give less than complimentary remarks about Strauss, hmf. They would be my absolute last choice. There is family owned camera repair business in Harrisonburg, VA called Ground Glass that has done most of my repairs with excellent results. If I can find their e-mail address I may give them a shout. Thanks for the replies, folks.

    Jeff,
Michael at Ground Glass died suddenly at the shop. I am not sure they are doing repair work anymore.
I had my Ranger 9 calibrated at Strauss years ago and it was fine. Other meter repair work goes to Quality Light Metric.

I had Strauss basically ruin an OM1, that was some 20 years ago but no reason to beileve things have changed. They had a mixed reputation even then.
