    Maybe not "essential" but the sheets will not dislodge with the clips which occupy a little more geometry than the ridges. Place them about 1/4 way down and the sheet(s) will "snap" into place. Refill the tank with water when unloading and the sheets slide out with ease.

    That's a terrific suggestion about filling the tank with water, works great.

    I’ve got the clips but have never used them.

    Never had a sheet come loose, and don’t really understand how they could. There is a very satisfying snap when you get a sheet in place and its own flex holds it in place.
