Intrepid 8x10 with the 12" Turner-Reich Gundlach convertible lens (a favorite!)

    Magnificent!

    Beautiful!
Seeing your results I definitely have to give it (Fomapan 400) a try. I got 2 x 50 sheets in 9x12 cm, expired...

Thank you very much David. I look forward to seeing what you produce! My recent experience with Fomapan 400 (and 100) has shown me that this is an underrated film, and I see no reason to malign it. My own perceptions of this being a "second best" film option have been dispelled.

Both of these are beautiful, the second one I prefer, the lighting is more specular. Those wall shadows are fantastic. I bought some Freestyle 8x10 Foma 400 and also Arista 200, which I think is Foma 200? Seeing these results I want to try the two bath, D23 has been my go to for quite a while. Inspirational.

Paul, this is lovely. I admit that I am partial to non-soft-focus images, though they have their charm and can sometimes, in my view, be very successful. For me this subject is better this way. The subtleties of of the shadows on the wall, the leaf on the book -- everything contributes to the unity of the composition, beautifully printed.
