Is this a Linhof Technika III lens board or something else?

I have an LF lens on the way from the auction site and will be pulling it off the lens board it came with as it won't fit my Super V, but I'm not sure if it's a Tech III lens board or something else, as I've never seen cutouts like these along the bottom of a III lens board. Can't see it in the attached photo, but it does have the tiny little arrow notch in the center of a III board. Based on the lettering of the logo, I assume it was manufactured in the 1950s.

Any ideas?

A Technika III board is a little taller and narrower than a Technika IV board, and the light trap on the back is different.

I would guess a Technika III board that someone added notches to so that it could fit (maybe) into a camera that took Technika IV-type boards.

The boards for a IV, V, or Master all have a big chamfer on the lower corners. The III boards have plain 90 degree corners. That's the easiest way to identify them by sight.

I thought this as well, but it isn't going to fit in a IV or a V with that square bottom.

Yes, but there are many other cameras (some not made by Linhof) that take Technika-IV-style boards but don't have the exact same front standard as a Technika, so it's possible that somebody modified it to fit one of those. Or to fit on a Technika-to-larger-board adapter.
