What is this "lens retainer" of which you speak? What I understand as the retaining ring, which clamps the shutter to the lens board, probably won't pass over a TeleXenar's rear cell.
well the rear of the lens is a straight tube that screws into the bakc of the shutter.
But what size hole does the shutter need in the lens board to mount properly. SK Grimes chart based on what i measured says i need a mm 41.6 hole in the board, and that doesnt make any sense
Most retaining rings have an inner collar that fits into the hole in the lens board. Just measure the O.D. of the collar and add a few thousands for clearance.
