How to develop half plate film in a Jobo CPE2 plus

Hi all

As the title says any ideas on how to develop half plate (6.5" x 4.75") film in a Jobo CPE2 plus? I've looked on 3D printing sites for a solution but can't find anything. While I can print 3D my CAD skills are zero.

There is a parameterized OpenSCAD implementation of a sheet reel by John Clark on Thingiverse.com https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3826578 I have a version I am testing that I scaled down from the 4x5 size to do 2.25x3.25 in a Jobo 1500 tank.

For half plate you would be looking to change the separation in the reel, but I am not sure if the sheet could load lengthwise. Sideways should be possible.

This reel design does not have the wings found on the Jobo 2509n reel, and I think it is a bit prone to edge effects on the small format I am trying. But that might be down to the strong curve required to do 2.25x3.25 in the 1500 tank diameter.

Anyway, if you have the printer, openscad.org has the software to generate the print files. I used an enhanced ABS filament which can be acetone vapor smoothed.

Half-plate is a bit smaller than 5x7. Go to Aliexpress and buy a Poilot 5x7 reel, which fits a JOBO 2550 tank (Poilot sell a clone of the tanks as well). Get the reel and shorten the centre shaft to suit the size of the film. I did this with their 8x10 reel to process whole plate sheets.
