    Saunders 4500 color module question

I just got a Saunder 4500 ll with color module, had a question about the filters. If you look at them with all the knobs at 0, you still see a portion of the filters in the way of the hole. Is this normal? Do they not retract and clear the hole completely?
Wanted to make sure before I opened the module unnecessarily.

    Thank you.

Re: Saunders 4500 color module question

While I don't have specific information about the Saunders 4500 II enlarger with a color module and its filters, I can provide some general guidance. In many enlargers with filter modules, the filters are designed to be adjustable to allow for color correction. When the color controls are set to zero, some filters may still be partially in the light path. This is often intentional, as it provides a starting point for color balance adjustments. Adjusting the color controls should cause the filters to move into or out of the light path, allowing you to fine-tune the color balance for your specific needs. pico park
