Hi,
My question is: would some scratch remover work on a condenser lens for very small scratches? Is this recommended?
Hi,

First I would try to determine if small scratches on a condenser are really a problem.
Exactly. Do you see some evidence of a problem, or do you just see a scratch and assume the worst? You said "very small scratches". To me, that says, Fuhgeddaboudit.
You will probably make it worse. Leave it alone.
I polished out a deep scratch in the windshield of my Lancia and now, in that area of the windshield, there is a lens effect.
no, just some hairline stuff probably inside the lens. on a middle grey background there is slight whitish blemish. I'll leave it. I'm sure its more than normal, but just checking.
ok. well noted.
Hi,
Just an update: I'm seeing so far that it might just be dust in the condenser. I tried 2 different condensers, one with some small speck scratches and another generally clear, with a slight spot above the middle, could be dust inside of it. Anyway, I'll keep tinkering with it, but I did not see the stray blemish on one of the prints so it could be just dust or the lens or negative. I'm sure its very normal, but thx for the input.
