My last ever job was Mixing Insanity

Test engines in 6 tiny rooms

    It was called Deep Chill

2000 gallons of antifreeze held at -35F

We pumped direct into 250F engine at shutdown

    Insane plumbing

    Repeated every 20 minutes

    Scary Work

We sent it to China 2008

    I wanted to come along!

Both Leedal and Arkay made gasket replacement kits with gaskets, instructions and diagrams. Some of these might still be available.

Another option, if you dare, is a complete DIY job, but some of the gaskets might be pretty hard to find, depending on your location -- and taking one apart is something I would advise against unless you have instructions & diagrams, or unless you like risks, of course.
This is clearly what happened to my unit. But gosh, it's probably been 40 years since I purchased it used.

    Time for something different.

I went one better than the economy model and purchased the following:

The economy model looked excellent and likely would have met my needs. (Especially since it had an adjustable "zero".) But since the next model up wasn't that much more expensive, I opted for a K250 instead.

Thanks for all the replies. This model will so much better than the Arkay I might have otherwise purchased.

    That's a good point; I'll check. Indeed, I cover LED's with black electrician's tape.
