Majestic 1400 Head Adapter

Sorry, all of the tripod I have owned have a 3/8"-16 screw stud to which the head (with a 3/8"-16 female tapped threads) attaches whereas the Majestic just attaches directly to the bare post it seems. Just getting the Majestic legs would certainly be best. Seems like it's hard to find just the legs alone. From what I've seen, it's either the head with the legs or just the head.

Mine’s mounted to a Manfrotto CF set of legs.

Be careful of damaged heads

The crank is often slightly bent ruining it from a fall

The heads require the very good and unique adjustable camera screw
I really like 3 legs over 6

It can get very tall if needed

Buy only perfect as there are no parts

I also made very simple adapter using the 1.5" plug to a 3" disc upsized with a small amount of SS strap

to fit snugly to the largest Linhof Metric female receiver for the very HD studio cameras

Serious and needy enthusiasts apply

The stiffness of the Majesty may be very stiff grease and/or bent elevation crank

Very common from dropping
