I just acquired a nice Majestic 1400 Head. Is there anywhere at all to get on of the T adapters to adapt it to a regular set of tripod legs?
Thanks,
Dave

Buy round aluminum

I don't know what a regular set of tripod legs are. No two manufacturers attach heads the same way. I would suggest Majestic legs. There is a wide variety from basic to massive double legs with geared elevation. I had the 4" round geared head with 2 section legs and 2 section geared centerpost. Never worried about wobble with my 4x5. Unless you have machine skills on tap I would think buying legs might be cheaper.
Details of mine (my Dad turned it up for me).

Perhaps go to your local trade school (hard to give a universal term for this - it changes country to country) where they teach machining. Give it to one of the students as a project. Buy the billet beforehand. Just a thought.

Sorry, all of the tripod I have owned have a 3/8"-16 screw stud to which the head (with a 3/8"-16 female tapped threads) attaches whereas the Majestic just attaches directly to the bare post it seems. Just getting the Majestic legs would certainly be best. Seems like it's hard to find just the legs alone. From what I've seen, it's either the head with the legs or just the head.
