Maybe a dumb question, but what are you guys using to hang your negatives for drying? I tried using clothes pins for my 4x5 negs but they leave marks. It’s been a long time since I’ve shot LF and I don’t remember how I used to do it.

I use Jobo (or Patterson) clips for all formats. The small pinhole left by the pin doesn't bother me, although I understand some hate this small artifact on their lf negs.
notch codes ? I only use one film...
Absolutely the best there is… firm point touch with no hole. I use 1 for 4x5 and 2 per 8x10 sheet

I've used sewing clips, and now use them for all formats. See this older thread.

Clothespins. Just in the corner by the notch.
These for 4x5 film for 20+ years (have not broken one yet): https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...ilm_Clips.html
The Paterson film clip sets for 120: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ..._Clip_Set.html
Do not recommend: bought this to write a review for students because it was cheap, but a clip broke after the first try: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
small bulldog clips strung on a line/wire also work fine

I use the Dental XRAY clips on Ebay. Keeps the sheet films from sliding around in a tray. Especially necessary for Fuji HRU XRAY film, if you look at that stuff wrong it will SCRATCH. If I didn't have these, I'd throw it all in the trash.

Used some today to hang up some slippery 5x7 sheets
Wooden clothespins on a wire line for 35mm and 120/220/70mm. Also great for hanging the XRAY clips

I used to use clothes pins, but for several years now I've used the same clips on Kiwi7475. To date, they've never damaged a negative--4x5 and 8x10.
Works for me as well. I have noticed my 50 year old grey Paterson clip pins can slip in their mounting now. But I have probably had my money's worth! The clips from B&H are fine, though I think two are advisable for 8x10 film.
I do use clothes pins on the bottom of roll film as weights - I cut them off with the leader before taking the film down to avoid any issues with water drops. I hang with frame 1 down, and cut the strips from the hanging film to minimize handling.
