CB 7 is best for wheelchair
Tin Can
Hello Tin Can:
Yes, that is a consideration. I have been in a wheelchair once for a few months. It makes everything more difficult. Why is the CB-7 better for wheelchair users? I mean all of the 45M series have power head lift.
The CB-7 enlarger from Beseler was WAY ahead of it's time. The CB-7 eventually became the 45M, then the 45MX, then the 45MXII, and finally the 45MXT which I believe is the current model. I have 2 of the 45MXII enlargers and just love them. Before I got my first Beseler enlarger, I was an Omega guy and before that Durst. I don't think the brand makes a lot of difference. Finding a machine that does what you want it to do does make a huge difference. Sadly, there is no way that I know of to try these things out. I had to buy an enlarger, then buy another to give them a fair trial side by side, then sell the one I decided not to keep. That was a long slow process.
Thank you Tin Can
Barry

A long long time ago I bought a pallet of Leitz Tiltall Professional tripods from the University of WA. I think there were 40 of them on the pallet, all black, all beat to death. There are still 2 of those in my kit like 35 years later. Tin Can you are my enlarger hero.
