    Sekonic I 508

So I was looking around for a light meter on EBay and Sekonic 508 seems reasonably priced from $350 to $450. But then I came across one from KEH that was they say was not functional at $407. WTF.
So should I get one out of Japan that works with free return or trust domestic sellers.
This is just unbelievable to me. Would some one please educate me.

    That must be an error.
They have one in excellent condition on their website for $456.18

    Hugh,
I have been buying from KEH since when they had a walk up store in Atlanta on 14th Street. They offer a 6 month warranty and free shipping on that light meter. If you do not want the meter, you can return it. In all my years of buying from them, I have only had one problem which they quickly resolved.

Why are you looking at that particular meter? I ask because I have the 558 and only use it in the studio. My other meters are for landscape and travel and they are a Pentax Digital Spot, a Pocket Spot and a Minolta Spotmeter F. The Pocket Spot gets the most milage on the road.

The 558 has been a great studio meter, but overkill for outside stuff for me.
    YMMV

I have had my Sekonic L 508 since they came out in 1997 (?). It is my go to meter for everything. If I recall it was advertised as the last meter you will need. I think it cost $600 at the time.
