I didn't see a termination date but will be in NYC in May and hope it is still up!
One more reason not to go to New York.

They’re really amazing. It’s a small exhibit, so it’s hard to say it justifies the trip, but well worth it if you’re already here. Does anyone know who actually printed them?
I was told (by someone who was there) that some of his mural-sized prints were made at Eastman Kodak, in the lab that served the corporate photo department. And that Avedon was very involved in the process. However I can't back that up, and I'm not sure if that's where these murals were made; my colleague told that story in connection with the "In the American West" prints. But that Kodak lab must have been one of the few capable of making prints that size.
The 'In the American West' prints were made by Avedon's staff using Modernage's facilities - see here for a very detailed breakdown of the production. Done on Agfa Portriga (and a lot of it).
Truth; I can't always trust my memory. Truth; when a colleague tells me that he worked on those prints before joining the department where I worked, take it with a grain of salt.
Wherever they were made, those huge prints carry a lot of impact.
