Sekonic L778 light meter whistle

Hello everyone, first of all I have to apologize for my English which will not be perfect as I get help from Mr. Google .....
Let's come to my problem, I am passionate about large format, I shoot with a Chamionix 45 F2 and I try to make exposures in the zone system, I use a Sekonic L778 light meter, I am very happy, lately, however, as soon as I turn it on it emits a very high frequency hiss, quite annoying, has this happened to someone? Do you think it could be a consensor? Can it affect the light measurement?

In low light conditions some Sekonic meters make a sound because they have an oscillator used to create a higher voltage for the back lit screen. If you bought it new, return it for another.
If you are starting it with a lens cap on, try taking the cap off before turning it on. I only found a few complaints about it online so it seems to be a rare issue.
You could also reach out to Sekonic and ask for their advice.

My L758DR does the same when you use the backlight.

I managed to block the sound by clicking on the button that activates / deactivates the beep, the only problem is that you have to do it every time you turn on the meter ....
