2914 is in the collection of the History of Science Museum in Oxford so that one probably has the lens from 2915 in it! I assume that these were 'D' designated stereo lenses.

I have No 2591, seen on the left here. No 3631, the Ax on the right is in Ivan's book. The Lens in the middle is my lovely 509 with a helicoid.

Ivan, your paper negatives produced with a D are very nice. I don't have a camera big enough to use a D, but I have Meagher and Robinson (both with Irish connections) c half plate cameras and I might rig up the Ax 3631 with one of those.

I recently came across an Ax No 3878 on an earlier sliding box camera in the Photographic Society of Ireland collection - see photos below. I don't think this dates from the time of Grubb and Coghill, but rather from the time in the mid 20th Century when they took in donations in order to establish a camera museum. The collection is also supposed to contain Grubb 8x10 Aplanatic No 4009, but we have yet to get to that in the cataloguing exercise.
