Looking for the imagecircle of a Meyer schnellarbeiter 270 mm.
    Thx

I haven't used the 270mm, but I would guess that it was probably intended for half-plate, so a bit larger than 4x5. The 36cm version I owned seemed best for whole plate, it could cover 8x10 at portrait distances but the corners "pulled" a bit more than I would like.

What a delightful name! (For those unfamiliar, schnellarbeiter is Fast worker in German. The speed of light is relatively fast, but perhaps this refers to the maximum aperture?

there is a play on words deep in there. I was going to say its not just relatively fast, but always fast, given that the speed of light in a vacuum is not relative to your speed, but always the same (hence "relativity".)

this is a bit like “How Long is a piece of string?”.
depends on your use of a Petzval as the curvature is very marked because of very limited depth of focus at F3.
Nearest I can think of is a Dallmeyer 3B ( around 275mm) which just about manages full plate.
