I took a portrait of my father yesterday. It was his nameday. He'll turn 93 in october, still strong, in great shape both physicly and mentaly. Love this guy!

szadow, this is a fine portrait. Beautifully handled, in this soft, high-key tone. Focus is just right, not just technically but compositionally; juxtaposition of subject and background is very sensitive; and his thoughtful mind makes its statement clearly. I appreciate the space left above him; too often, I think, this is not included, but you have used it very well.
