I extensively use the 35mm Leitz enlargers for smaller format work, and the uncut film supports have come in very handy!!!

When shooting/processing bulk film, after drying it gets backrolled onto a spool core and is placed back into the bulk film can with all the other bulk rolls until ready to cut later (it flattens the film nicely during it's time there)... But there has been times a frame needed to be printed sooner, so was able to print off the roll easily... Also had a 35mm SLR camera attachment that projected enlarger to no lens camera for B/W duping neg to positive film in camera that saved my bacon during a 70 roll project for a big AV slide presentation project...

Great enlargers!!! Done properly, enlarger slightly upgraded, and can easily produce almost contact LF quality 11X14's with carefully produced negs, and have done other process work with them... Still doing a lot of high-end 35mm work for urban exploring (on foot), can hand hold, use very long lenses on good compact tripod, and have plenty of film to burn... :-)
