I seem to remember Deardorff making a camera for one of their clients
who wanted to use it at the 39 World's Fair. There was something unique
about the size and I'm hoping one of you might know the story behind this.

A lovely camera. I'd sure like to have one again sometime; I did have one years ago, but that was stolen from my studio. There are plenty of better cameras around now, but I still miss the Baby.
Oddly enough I did find a partial one with a bunch of old photo stuff. It has the back, hinges, and main rail, but missing the bed, extension rail, and front standard. So I guess that leaves a potential 499 still around.
