Yes, this is a Plume Wafer Express, smallest in the set (used for small stuff). Been using Plume wafer SB since the 1990's. These produced better results than Broncolor SB from that era. Since then piles of SB today have inner diffusers. One of the features that makes Plume SB different, they use a plastic light blue mesh diffuser sheet that IMO does a better job diffusing the flash tube light source more uniform across SB front and the slight blue does a bit of color correcting for the SB fabrics used.
Plume made a hexoval SB back in the days before that SB shape was popular. Got one back then as it produced roundish shape catch lights in eyes instead of the rectangular shaped SB so common back then.

Love the Wafers. Had three at one time, now got the lazyman's special: pop-up Adorama strip box.

Thanks, Roger. I used a Nikkor 200F/2G at f/2.

This is our dog Sage, died 2009, on a ski trip near Mount Shasta. Taken from a 35mm color slide of slightly less than optimal focus:
When I was teaching, I posted some other photos of her at my web page in the hopes that my students might see me as a normal human being, with a dog!

Love the photo, Greg!

Thanks. It is probably, other than technical considerations, the best photo I've ever made. It was late afternoon, and we had stopped to put skins on our skis. I looked over and thought "wow!" You can see that her first choice of where to sit was just not satisfactory, for some reason.
