Hallo, Greetings from Denmark.
I'm new to this forum as well as new to large format photography. I have got 4 13x18 film holders in very fine condition. The question is whether my 13x18 film holder fits Intrepids 5x7 camera?

Hi Kim,
They fit, but to be on the safe side you would also need 13x18 film ( ADOX and FomaPan comes to mind, the others are scarce )

That link from Tin Can is definitely the clearest explanation I've seen.
The 5x7" holders used on this video were mine. 13x18 film is available on Ilford, Foma and ADOX. Some Ilford films are available on 13x18 and not in 5x7" and vice-versa
5x7 inch, 13x18cm, half plate modern film holders also interchange
I have been buying Ilford 1/2 plate special order for years as it is cheapest per sq"

what's Stefan said. the holders will work with the camera but while 5x7 film can be used, it won't sit snugly in the holder. so expect uneven rebates and or possible slippage off the rails.
notch codes ? I only use one film...
I use the 3 different modern holders with identical exterior, but different internal dimensions and same 'T'
However I cut a lot of film to any size I need

I recently bought these ancient Norma Sinar 13x18cm holders in Germany. Presently they are loaded with cut-down 8x10 Fuji HRU XRAY film. Will be testing these soon. These are unusual holders and I'm glad I found them
