    According to my Horseman catalog from the early 1990's, there was an L45B where ".. rack and pinion drive for everything except focusing of the rear standard has been dispensed with."

    Good news then for you. For the record, Horseman are very good cameras. I like them all. Some are very rare such as 5X7 L.

    Which I saw in a Horseman Catalog and nobody can find even in Japan.


    Right now they are not popular but that may change over time.

    I have a custom 8X10 Horse made by a member here. A one off.
