Thanks, Cameron! This photo was made in the early 90s. The man, Mr. Frazier, had an antique store, and the clock was in a back storage area. This is in West Virginia, and I believe, if memory serves, he told me the clock was once inside the governor’s mansion. Not sure how he acquired it. It is an imposing clock. Mr. Frazier is now deceased.

Igor, yours is the kind of portrait I envision making of associates of mine -- historic and timeless, if you like that irony; straightforward and yet rich. The warm tonality is also my aim.
