I would like to stamp the back of prints I sell and fill in details in pencil and be confident that the stamp will cause no damage in the future. Anyone have a suggestion?

It is not the stamp that is important - it is the ink
Don't do it
Make bigger margins and sign them
Carefully in pencil

I've seen someone use an embosser, I think, to custom imprint their name on prints. I thought it looked nice.
Just don't use an ugly, shiny foil "authenticity" sticker IMO, like one print I bought...
I need to do better about signing the back of my prints. I usually sign the mat.
