On the other hand.......

Had a shoot yesterday. Developed the first batch with one of my spools that sits a bit more snug on the spindle, and it all came out fine, and the second batch in my second spool that rotates freely and I didn't use a rubber band and I had the issue that i thought I had the first time. This time around it's not the film, as you can see from the difference in how both sides of the spool developed. Luckily one shot developed correctly.
So rubber bands are here to stay.
