Artars have around 46 degrees of coverage... so it will not cover 8x10 at infinity. They were/are the standard lens for close-up work and copying; focusing closer increases the coverage, so this lens will cover 8x10 at 1:1 magnification.
Darn, I do landscapes, so I need infinity. Guess the search continues
A 12" Dagor more than covers 8x10 and that's what you may have been thinking of. AFAIK, the 8 1/4" Dagor is the shortest Dagor that will cover 810 other than the 6 1/2" WA Dagor. Good luck.
I think the Goerz APO Artar 12/9 covers 8x10 with its eyes closed with lots of movements.

^^^ I'm going to "go out on a limb" here and say that that is not shot at infinity focus. ^^^
I've shot with a 14" APO Artar, which does cover 8x10.
I don't know anything about 12"-ers though.

This http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/goerz_3.html catalog, see p.23, says that the 12"/9 Apo-Artar covers 12x14 + 15% at 1:1. That's 6.9" x 8" at infinity.
It claims 14x17 +15% @ 1:1 for the 14incher. That's 8.05 x 9.78 at infinity.
Whether the 12incher is worth using on 8x10 depends on the subject (little detail towards the edges, no resolution needed there) and whether the negative is to be enlarged.
+1 on Luis' suggestion. Or (and I'll stick my neck out a bit) possibly a 305 G-Claron.
I have a 12" RD Artar. It's a beautiful lens on 5x7. But no, it won't do 8x10 at infinity focus. A 14" perhaps. I had one once and it felt very cramped on 8x10. But that was long ago and far away and my perceptions may well have been different then. Good luck!
