    For what it's worth, I've never had a problem with the sp445 that could not be directly attributed to me. Just take the time to load it properly, clean it after use and remove the o ring when not in use (and occasionally lube it with Vaseline). If I needed to do volume though, I'd get something else. Prior to the sp445 I used trays, hangers and tanks and some time ago a wing-lynch processor but have no experience with jobo. Good luck.

    On the 2509n plus wings: in my hands they work fine with standard developers such as Xtol etc, I got problems with Pyro developers: surge marks around the place were there are these little triangles in the reel which hold the film tight. Switched to an Expert drum and a Simma roller: no problmes any more.
